Mario Velasquez / Senior Recruitment Consultant
Mario Velasquez is a seasoned recruiter with experience working markets in the US and Canada. Before going fully into recruitment, he got a Bachelors in Human Resource Management and another one in Psychology, and before joining Lambert Nemec he supported enterprise clients such as Bristol Myers-Squibb and Marvell Technologies, multi-national nonprofits like Acumen, and Series B funded startups like Shipium. He also served separately as a consultant for DEI initiatives and as a trainer for senior recruiters, and internally acted as a lead for recruitment practices.
Both his academic and professional pursuits have given him a comprehensive understanding of how to assess profiles and build meaningful relationships with clients and candidates alike. Beyond this, he enjoys analytics and statistics and has an evidence-based mindset that he carries through his practice. Currently at Lambert Nemec, he supports the IT and Finance lines of business, but his vast experience in a plethora of profiles allows for him to flex wherever the LNG team needs for him to be.
